Albert Gesellmann - A tribute to Blaufränkisch & Co

Category: May 2011, Winery Gesellmann

Albert Gesellmann's style combines tradition with innovation. No detail is unconsidered in matters of cultivation and oenology on the 50 hectare estate. Permanent questioning of the applied methods guarantees further development and secures high quality standards. The philosophy is to bring elegance, fruit, and structure in the wine with a focus on the mid-palate. All wines reflect the relatively cool climate and unique character of the Mittelburgenland - region. The fruit and spice of Blaufränkisch are the perfect prerequisites for elegant wines, therefore Albert Gesellmann vinifies it in every imaginable form - in oak casks, small barrels, or as single-vineyard parcels.
